Good god, was this blow job extolling the virtues of chicken commissioned by Perdue?  How can you have a story about the chicken's infiltration of dinner plates across the globe without talking about avian flu?  The top health article the same paper and even an article in the same section state that 140 million birds (as in CHICKEN HEAVEN, people) have been slaughtered in Asia in a futile attempt to stop the spread of the disease.  In light of the possible flu pandemic which Georgie Porgie wants $7.1 billion to prepare for, what does the author suggest we cook for dinner?
