Saturday will be my 31st birthday, and I plan to spend it where I have spent four of my last five weekends -- with the fine people of NE Philadelphia.
I hear McCain's pushing hard to win PA, so I'm planning on going to Philadelphia to encourage people to vote in their best interest. I'm also planning on spending my Halloween weekend there for the Get Out The Vote effort.
And I'll tell you why I don't want to rest on the poll numbers -- I've talked to enough people who are on the fence to know that there are a lot of people who are just waiting for one good reason to vote for McCain. Right now, all McCain has given them is a bunch of reasons not to vote for Obama. Should he decide to do just ONE GOOD THING in the next two weeks, I could see those votes we've been working hard to get swing in McCain's direction.
Anyway, come celebrate my birthday with me by knocking on doors in NE Philadelphia. Let's put in two weeks of hard work so we can have (at least) four years to party!
