Since they're always on the shelf in alphabetical order, I find it most confusing when the first letter is different. Once you've mastered the kummin/spiskummin distinction, that is!
Wow, I totally lucked out on that one. I just bought spiskummin for taco night yesterday because I found it in that big mix up bin and it looked about right. I had no idea until I looked it up on Wikipedia that:
spiskummin = cumin
kummin = caraway
Very tricky!
The cumin/caraway thing is something most Swedes get wrong... but it makes sense in a way, kummin SHOULD be cumin, not caraway. It´s most confusing.
